Canada

Canada

Sport transcends age, race, gender, economics, and even culture. Canada is leading the world in diversity of cultures in one country. Toronto alone has over 55% of residents as immigrants from other nations. We believe sports is the universal language that breaks down barriers and unifies communities in Canada.

FCA Canada has a mission and desire “To see CANADA transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes!” With a population of around 40 million people across country, recent studies show that less than 5% know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The mission field is vast in our country but God is moving in BIG ways! Through sports engagements to coaches and athletes and in partnership with local evangelical churches, FCA Canada is able to make an impact!

By partnering with Canadian evangelical churches in all programs/outreaches, FCA Canada is able to encourage, train, and partner with these churches in cross-cultural evangelism. We utilize volunteers and coaches from the churches to impact their communities with the Gospel.

A large part of our ministry operation across country is in sports leagues, clinics, and camps. Our most popular programs are our multi-sport camps and clinics where athletes can experience and try a range of sports. Our leagues are focused primarily in basketball & soccer but will be expanding to hockey, cricket, martial arts, and lacrosse in the coming 2021-22 seasons.

Camp Ministry and Coaches Ministry are the keys of expansion in communities across Canada. We are intentional in partnering with and training sports leaders to join the FCA Canada Team. Coaches Ministry is growing through FCA’s 3Dimensional Coaching program in a variety of platforms (including schools, pro-sports teams, etc.).
